General ManagerMaximus Solutions is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Head of Sales to lead our global sales organization.
In this role, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and developing sales strategies to meet the company's objectives.
You will lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team, ensuring they are motivated and equipped to achieve our business targets.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the sales team in the United States, Canada, LATAM, and China Identify new market opportunities and develop plans to expand the business.
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue growth and expand market share globally.
Oversee the entire sales process from lead generation, prospecting, negotiation, closing, and post-sales support.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and industry stakeholders to drive customer retention and loyalty.
Analyze market trends, competitors, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities and areas for growth.
Manage, mentor, and coach a global sales team, setting clear objectives, providing regular feedback, and driving a high-performance sales culture.
Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer success, to ensure a seamless customer experience and alignment with overall company objectives.
Develop and manage sales budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics to optimize sales efficiency and effectiveness.
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to increase brand visibility and foster business relationships.
Skills and
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or related field.
15 - 20 years of experience in sales, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
Proven experience in a senior sales leadership role, preferably within the agriculture, livestock, or technology industry.
Demonstrated track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
Experience in the agriculture and livestock industry (Poultry and Swine).
Experience-understanding of corporate reporting needs and management initiatives.
Understanding of equipment used in barns (Strong asset, not required).
Possess knowledge and an established network in the poultry and swine markets.
Experience in agriculture technology industry (strong asset).
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop a high-performing sales team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Deep understanding of sales processes, CRM systems, and sales performance metrics.
